The Aglaonema Prosperity, also known as the Chinese Evergreen, originally comes from the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and New Guinea. This plant has spread widely in these areas and mainly grows in the shady undergrowth of rainforests.
Characteristics
The Aglaonema Prosperity is known for its graceful leaves. These leaves are glossy, elongated and often beautifully patterned with various designs in green and silver tones. The plant has a compact growth habit and can reach a maximum height of one metre. Under the right conditions, the plant can produce small white flowers, followed by red berries.
Care
The Aglaonema Prosperity prefers a position with light shade, does not tolerate direct sunlight and performs well in a warm place with high humidity. In terms of watering, the plant prefers evenly moist soil without becoming waterlogged. Maintenance is also relatively simple, with the plant being repotted every few years and any yellowed leaves being removed to promote healthy growth.
