At Nieuwkoop Europe, we continuously strive for innovation and unique, bespoke solutions that broaden our offerings. We are excited to introduce five new spraying techniques for planters. In this article, you will learn about these new techniques: Metallic, Sand, Oxidation, Leatherlook, and Gold.
Metallic
From now on, planters can be sprayed in five unique Metallic colours. These five colours are: Metallic Bronze, Metallic Copper, Metallic Gold, Metallic Silver, and Metallic Titanium. Thanks to the variety of shades – from cool to warm – there is a suitable Metallic colour for every space.
Metallic is known for its unique way of reflecting light. The shimmer created by this adds a dynamic look. Planters sprayed in Metallic paint are real eye-catchers!
All Metallic colours are available in both a glossy and a matte finish. The displayed image shows the five Metallic colours with a glossy finish.

Sand
For a special surface texture, choose the Sand technique. These planters are provided with a unique, rough texture that is visually appealing and adds extra depth. The sand has a dark colour, which creates a beautiful contrast with light paint colours.
With the Sand technique, you can have the planters sprayed in all RAL colours. This allows the technique to be perfectly tailored to your specific project or space.
Sand is only available in a matte finish. The displayed image shows the Sand technique sprayed in RAL 1020 (Olive yellow), RAL 1015 (Light ivory), and RAL 1001 (Beige).

Oxidation
The beautiful Oxidation technique gives planters a very unique appearance. The technique is based on two natural oxidation processes, namely rust and patina.
The rust colour gives planters a tough and robust effect. Because real iron particles are incorporated into the paint, it looks very authentic. Looking for a statement effect? With the characteristic bright blue colour, Patina makes planters real eye-catchers.
Both colours are available in a matte finish. The matte top coat provides a protective layer over the metal-containing paint layers, allowing the planters to be safely touched and moved. Due to the handmade nature of the Oxidation technique, slight variations within the colours may occur.

Leatherlook
The Leatherlook technique gives planters a beautiful surface structure with the effect of real leather. The characteristic irregular texture of leather is subtly applied to the planter.
With the Leatherlook technique, you can choose from all RAL colours for the coloured paint. This allows you to perfectly tailor the planter to your project or to your customer's wishes.
The Leatherlook technique is available in both a glossy and a matte finish. The image alongside shows the glossy finish.

Gold
The special Gold technique, sprayed in the colour Satin Gold, radiates softness, warmth, and refinement, and makes a chic statement in the interior. Planters sprayed with this technique have a luxurious and elegant appearance that elevates any space.
Gold has long been a trend colour in interior design and a popular choice for accessories and accents. With the addition of this technique to our range, you can therefore better serve your customers with custom planters that match the latest trends.
Satin Gold is available in both a glossy and a matte finish, allowing you to choose the perfect finish that matches the style of your project or customer.

Ordering planters in a new technique
Ordering planters in one of the new techniques is simple and user-friendly. Select the planters you want to have sprayed, choose the desired technique, colour, and finish in the updated colour picker, and place your order. It is still possible to have your planters sprayed in the standard technique, where you can choose the desired RAL or Baq colour.
Please note: the new techniques can only be applied to selected planters with a smooth surface. Planters with a structure are excluded.
Adjusted pricing model
With the introduction of these new spraying techniques and colours, we have adjusted the pricing model for the spray planters. Whereas previously you saw a price including the spraying of the desired colour, you now have insight into the price structure. The total price consists of a fixed price for the planter, plus surcharges for the technique, colour, and finish. The price for planters sprayed in the standard technique may therefore differ slightly from the price previously.
