Origin
The Guzmania Fiero Red, also known as the Guzmania Red Fiero, is a tropical plant originating from Central and South America. The plant belongs to the Bromeliaceae family and is predominantly found in countries such as Costa Rica and Panama.
Characteristics
The Guzmania Fiero Red characterises itself by its striking, bright red flowers that protrude above the green leaves. The shape of the plant is cup-shaped and reaches an average height of 45 centimetres. This indoor plant typically blooms for three to four months and is a real eyecatcher in the home thanks to its vivid colours.
Care
The Guzmania Fiero Red requires relatively little care. The plant performs best in bright, but indirect light and craves a high humidity, similar to its natural habitat. When watering, it is important to fill the centre of the plant's rosette with water. It's recommended to keep the potting soil slightly moist and to fertilise the plant every two weeks during the growing season.
