Origin
The Phalaenopsis Formidablo Yosemite Falls is a hybrid orchid from the Phalaenopsis genus. This species has emerged from the controlled crossbreeding of various Phalaenopsis orchids. The plant's name is derived from the majestic Yosemite Falls, a waterfall in Yosemite National Park in the United States.

Characteristics
This orchid is characterised by its voluminous and brightly coloured flowers. The flowers are generally pink with white marble-like stripes and points. The plant's leaves are thick and have a bright green colour. In terms of size, this orchid can grow quite large, but usually remains limited to an average height of between 50 and 60 centimetres.

Care
For the care of the Phalaenopsis Formidablo Yosemite Falls, it is important to place the plant in a bright location without direct sunlight. The temperature needs to remain between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Further, this plant requires high humidity and regular watering without the roots standing in the water. It is advisable to give the plant a little orchid fertiliser every 14 days.
