Origin
The Campanula isophylla 'Napoli', also known as the Italian Bellflower, has its origin in the mountains of Northern Italy. This species is a member of the bellflower family, a vast plant family with more than 500 different species that occur worldwide. The Campanula isophylla 'Napoli' is one of the few members of this family that does not occur in the wild, but has been specifically cultivated for ornamental horticulture.

Characteristics
The Campanula isophylla 'Napoli' is known for its luxurious sparkling blue flowers that often bloom in the summer months. The plant forms elegant overhanging stems dotted with star-shaped flowers and heart-shaped leaves. With an average height of 15 to 30 centimetres, the 'Napoli' is a relatively compact plant. Frequent full bloom makes it a popular choice for both indoor and outdoor decoration.

Care
Although the Campanula isophylla 'Napoli' generally requires little care, it requires consistent watering and moderate light conditions. The plant thrives in well-draining soil and prefers cool temperatures. When pruning the 'Napoli', it is advised to do this after blooming to stimulate the growth of new flowers. Operator errors, such as overwatering or exposure to extremely high or low temperatures, can severely affect the growth and development of the plant.
