Origin
Aglaonema 'Maria Christina' is a houseplant that originally comes from the tropics of Southeast Asia. This plant is a member of the Araceae family and grows wild under the shade of larger trees. It is primarily found in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, where the humid and warm climate provides the ideal growing conditions.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Maria Christina' is an appealing plant that stands out due to its striking leaf colours which range from dark green to silvery. The plant has large, elliptical leaves that have a velvet-like texture, and the leaves often also have an attractive pattern. The adult plant can reach a height of between 50 and 75 cm, and the width can become 25 to 35 cm.
