Origin
The Dracaena fragrans 'Cintho' is an indoor plant that originates from Africa. More specifically, it is endemic in countries such as Mozambique, Angola, and Ivory Coast. This evergreen, bushy plant belongs to the Asparagaceae family and is also known as the common Dracaena.

Characteristics
The Dracaena fragrans 'Cintho' is recognisable by its speckled green leaves which grow from large stems. Its leaves can grow up to 40 cm long, whilst the plant itself can reach heights of 2 metres indoors and up to 6 metres outdoors. The plant only blooms rarely, but when it does, it produces pleasantly scented white flowers that form clusters.

Care
The Dracaena fragrans 'Cintho' is relatively easy to care for. It prefers light, but indirect sun, and can also thrive in partial shade. The plant has a moderate water requirement and requires well-draining soil to prevent root rot. It is important to water the plant less in the winter and the plant requires a constant temperature between 16 and 24 degrees Celsius.
