Origin
The Dracaena marginata, also known as the Dragon Tree, originates in Madagascar and other islands of the Indian Ocean. Its presence has also been noted in various tropical and subtropical regions of the world, largely due to its popularity as an indoor plant.

Characteristics
Dracaena marginata is an evergreen shrub known for its characteristic long, thin stems with scissor-shaped leaves. The leaves typically have a rich green colour, surrounded by thin red edges that contribute to its refined appearance. The plant can grow up to 5 metres high in ideal conditions, although it usually remains smaller indoors.

Care
Taking care of the Dracaena marginata involves providing indirect light and limiting water. Although it can tolerate some drought, it is essential not to over-water the plant. Under normal living room conditions, the plant should be watered approximately once every two weeks. The ideal temperature for this plant is between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius.
