Origin
The Philodendron 'Malay Gold' has its origin in the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. The plant is often found in Malaysia, hence the reference to 'Malay' in its name. Furthermore, the plant is also known as the Philodendron 'Golden Goddess'.

The leaves are large and heart-shaped, which is typical for many Philodendron species. The plant can grow to a height of 1.2 to 2 meters and has the ability to grow both upwards and downwards, making it very flexible when it comes to its location.

The plant requires moderate watering, with under watering being preferable to overwatering. The soil should be well-draining to prevent root rot.
