Origin

This plant has been cultivated in Asia for many years due to its beautiful appearance and ease of care. Because of these attributes, it has become popular worldwide in both house and office environments.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Ivy Green' is an elegant plant with attractive, shiny green leaves. The leaves grow straight up from the base of the plant, giving it a full appearance. The 'Ivy Green' can develop into a larger houseplant that can reach 60 to 120 cm in height. Furthermore, this plant is valued for its air purifying properties and is part of the Araceae family.

Care
Whilst the Aglaonema 'Ivy Green' is a relatively easy plant, it still needs specific care to thrive. The plant thrives best in indirect and filtered sunlight and dislikes direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. The 'Ivy Green' prefers a warm environment and cannot tolerate temperatures below 16°C. Water should be given moderately, but let the soil almost dry out between watering. Excess water can cause root rot.
