Origin
The Bucida buceras 'Shady Lady' is a type of evergreen tree that originally comes from the tropical regions of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. It can be found at both sea level and altitudes up to 1200 meters. The plant is also known by the name 'Black olive tree', although it bears no relation to the true olive tree.
