Origin
The Chlorophytum comosum 'Ocean, also known as the Spider Plant, finds its origin in South Africa. It's a popular indoor plant that belongs to the Asparagaceae family. This plant was brought to Europe in the Victorian era and has since then taken a solid place in our interiors.

The main characteristic of the Chlorophytum comosum 'Ocean' is its lush, green foliage. The leaves are long and narrow, featuring a green central vein and white edges. In the summer, the plant produces small, white flowers and long runners. These runners can form new plants, making it easy for the mother plant to spread.

When caring for the Chlorophytum comosum 'Ocean', it's important to place the plant in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight. The plant has a preference for a constant temperature, ideally between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius. In terms of watering, the plant prefers moderate amounts of water, where it's recommended to slightly let the soil dry out between watering sessions.
