DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Cordyline fruticosa 'Tango', also known as the Good Luck Plant, originates from the warm and humid climate of East Asia, Australia and the islands of the South Pacific. The plant mainly grows in open forests and clear areas. It is a perennial plant, meaning that it stays green all year round in its natural habitat.

Characteristics
The Cordyline fruticosa 'Tango' is a growing plant adorned with large oval leaves that grow in clusters. The colour of the leaves varies from dark pink to almost purple, depending on the light intensity and the health of the plant. The plant can grow up to 2 metres high, making it often used as an ornate pot plant. In the summer, the Cordyline fruticosa 'Tango' produces small flowers, followed by red or white berries.

Care
The Cordyline fruticosa 'Tango' has moderate care requirements. The plant needs a lot of sunlight, but also tolerates semi-shade. A well-drained, moist soil is ideal for this plant. The plant should be watered regularly, but the soil should be able to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Although the plant is resistant to high temperatures in its natural environment, it thrives best indoors at moderate warm temperatures between 18 - 27°C. The plant is not suitable for cold temperatures and should be kept indoors when the temperature falls below 10°C.
