Origin
Dieffenbachia seguine 'Reeva', also known as dumb cane, has its origin in the tropical regions of Central and South America. The species is named after Joseph Dieffenbach, a 19th-century gardener from Vienna who brought the plant to Europe.

Characteristics
The Dieffenbachia seguine 'Reeva' is a perennial plant characterized by its large, striking leaves. These leaves are green with white or cream-coloured stripes and can grow up to a length of 30 centimetres. The plant can reach a height of up to 1.5 meters under optimal conditions. The Dieffenbachia rarely blooms and when it does, it produces small white flowers.

The care of the Dieffenbachia seguine 'Reeva' primarily requires warmth and humid air, similar to its original tropical habitat. The plant prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil.
