Origin
The Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo' is a green indoor plant originally hailing from Africa. There, the plant grows in a variety of environments, ranging from rainforests to desert climates. Thanks to its adaptability, the Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo' has also become a popular houseplant in many parts of the world.

Characteristics
Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo', also known as the Dragon tree, is known for its lush green leaves, which can become as long as 60 centimetres. These leaves are shiny, elongated and have a unique curved shape. The plant can grow up to two metres in height in indoor conditions. At full maturity, the plant produces fragrant white blossoms, although this is a rare occurrence in domestic conditions.

Care
The Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo' requires little maintenance, making it an ideal choice for novice gardeners. The plant needs a light location but direct sunlight should be avoided. The room temperature should ideally be around 20 degrees Celsius. Watering is only sporadically necessary; the soil must dry out almost completely between waterings. Excessive watering can even be damaging to the plant, leading to root rot.
