Origin
The Dracaena fragrans 'Kanzi' 12/tray is an ornamental plant that originally comes from Africa. It is a tropical plant, mainly found in the rainforests of West Africa. However, the plant can now be found all over the world because of its popularity as a houseplant and an ornamental plant in office environments.

Characteristics
The Dracaena fragrans 'Kanzi' 12/tray is characterised by its dark green, shiny and striped leaves. The plant can grow to a height of 1 to 2 metres depending on the conditions. This species belongs to the Asparagaceae family and is also known as 'Dragon Blood Tree'. It grows slowly and has a straight main trunk from which various side shoots can emerge.

Care
The care of the Dracaena fragrans 'Kanzi' 12/tray requires attention to water and light. The plant prefers a light place, but also does well in less light places. Avoid direct sun to prevent discolouration of the leaves. Regarding watering, the Dracaena fragrans 'Kanzi' 12/tray has quite a low water requirement and it is sufficient to water once a week. However, overwatering should be avoided, as this can cause root rot.
