DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Dracaena surculosa, also commonly known as the gold dust dracaena, is originally from West Africa. In its native habitat, this exotic plant is primarily found in the tropical rainforests. It mainly grows in semi-shade under the dense tree layer, where it is protected from direct sunlight.

Characteristics
Dracaena surculosa is a foliage plant known for its vibrant colours and striking leaf pattern. The leaves are generally dark green with light yellow spots, as a result of irregular chlorophyll formation. These leaves grow in a twisted spiral around the plant's trunk. Given the right conditions, the Dracaena surculosa can reach a height of approximately 150 centimetres.

Care
The Dracaena surculosa requires a lot of light near a window, but not direct sunlight, as this can burn the leaves. Regular watering is necessary, but always avoid allowing the roots to stand in water for too long as this can lead to root rot. During the winter, watering once every two weeks is sufficient, while a weekly watering is recommended during the summer.
