Characteristics
The Medinilla magnifica is an attractive house plant, known for its breathtaking flower clusters. The plant has large, glossy green leaves that have a leathery texture. The most striking are the pink hanging flower clusters, which can grow up to 50 cm in length, and which the plant usually produces in the late winter or early spring. The blooming can last up to four months and each flower produces small seeds in a fruit.

Care
In terms of care, the Medinilla magnifica requires some extra attention. They need bright, but indirect sunlight - direct sunlight can burn the leaves. The plant prefers a high humidity, so regular misting is recommended. Moderate watering is necessary; the soil needs to somewhat dry out between waterings.
