The Phalaenopsis 'Tsarine' is a variant of the Phalaenopsis family, also known as the moth orchid. This species originally comes from Southeast Asia, specifically the Philippines and Indonesia. There, it grows as an epiphyte on trees in rainforests or in moist mountain forests.

Characteristics
The Phalaenopsis 'Tsarine' is characterised by its large-flowered, white flowers with a soft yellow core. This orchid stands out due to its multiple flower branches that can bear up to fifteen flowers. Its flowering period runs from December to April. The leaf is thick, fleshy and glossy green in colour with a maximum width of 35 centimetres.

Care
When caring for the Phalaenopsis 'Tsarine' it is important to know that this plant likes a warm, bright spot, but should not be placed in direct sunlight. The ideal temperature ranges between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. The plant requires a high humidity, it is therefore advisable to spray it regularly. Do not overfeed the orchid, a little bit of special orchid feed every two weeks is sufficient. In the growing season, from March to September, the plant can grow significantly and requires additional water.
