DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Aralia (Polyscias) 'Ming', renowned as the Ming Aralia, originates from Southeast Asia and specifically the Pacific region. This exotic plant is a member of the Araliaceae family and exhibits several variants, one of which is the 'Ming'.

Characteristics
The Aralia 'Ming' is recognisable by its distinctive dark green, incised leaves that have an almost architectural presence. The leaves form a dense growth and are interspersed with slender trunks. It's a robust plant that can reach up to 2 metres in height. Although this plant does not bear flowers, it is a popular choice due to its unique leaf shapes and structure.

Care
The Aralia 'Ming' thrives well in a place with lots of light, but tolerates partial sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to burn. Moderate watering is recommended; the roots should never stand in water as this can lead to root rot. Especially in the growing period, in spring and summer, regular fertilisation is beneficial. Although this plant prefers a warmer climate, it is resistant to temperatures down to as low as 10 degrees Celsius.
