Origin
The Rhipsalis Mix 6/tray is a collection of different types of Rhipsalis, also known as the cactus without thorns. This plant species originates from the rainforests of Central and South America, but is now popular worldwide and can grow almost anywhere.
Characteristics
Rhipsalis plants stand out for their hanging, bushy growth and forms of hanging shoots that sometimes become more than a metre long. They distinguish themselves from other cacti through their lack of thorns and their small, white or light yellow flowers that usually develop in spring. Another characteristic of this plant is the great diversity of leaf shapes, such that some species can have flat, broad leaves, while others have round or triangular leaves.
Care
The Rhipsalis Mix 6/tray turned out to be a fairly easy plant to care for. They prefer indirect, bright light and do well in a location with filtered light, such as near a window but not directly in the sun. They require regular watering, but it is crucial to prevent the soil from getting soaked. In the summer months, these plants benefit from high humidity, which can be achieved by regularly misting the plant with water.
