Origin
The Scindapsus, also known as Epipremnum 'Aureum', originally comes from the tropical and subtropical regions of East Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. This popular houseplant has an exotic character and is now distributed worldwide due to its adaptability to different climates and conditions.

Characteristics
The Scindapsus 'Aureum' is an evergreen climbing plant with glossy, heart-shaped leaves. What's remarkable about this plant is the yellow-green colour of its leaves, a combination that has given it the nickname 'golden pothos'. Under optimal conditions, the plant can develop stems of up to 2 meters or longer. The plant has the unique feature of developing aerial roots, which enables it to attach itself to different surfaces.

Care
The Scindapsus 'Aureum' is relatively easy to care for. The plant prefers indirect sunlight and cannot handle direct sunlight. As it pertains to watering, it suffices to keep the potting soil lightly moist without a layer of water on the bottom of the pot. Temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees are ideal for this plant, and it is recommended to place the plant in well-drained soil to prevent root rot. Finally, the 'Aureum' grows best at a humidity of 40% to 60%, but the plant can adapt to lower humidity.
