Photinia serratifolia 'Crunchy' (180-220)

Origin
The Fargesia robusta 'Campbell', also known as 'Campbell' bamboo, originates from the mountainous west of China. The plant is named after Ernest Henry Wilson, a well-known English plant collector who brought many unique plant species from China to Europe.
Characteristics
The Fargesia robusta 'Campbell' is a non-invasive type of bamboo that can grow up to about 4 meters tall. The plant has sturdy, green stems with a dense growth of dark green leaves. The 'Campbell' grows in a tuft-like, upward shape and does not produce runners. In spring, this bamboo species develops new shoots, which later in the season grow into full stems.
Care
For optimal growth, the Fargesia robusta 'Campbell' requires a location with both sun and partial shade. In the summer months, the plant needs regular watering. Although the 'Campbell' is resistant to cold, protection against harsh, cold winds is recommended. The plant has no specific soil requirements, but thrives in well-drained, fertile soil. Pruning is generally not necessary for this bamboo type, unless height restriction is desired.
