Origin
The Bromelia Classic mix originates from the tropical areas of America, with a wide distribution from the south of the United States to the north of Argentina. The urn plant, as the Bromelia Classic mix is also known, is a member of the Bromeliaceae family, which comprises more than 50 genera and approximately 2000 species.

Generally, it is sufficient to water once every two weeks. It is important to pour the water directly into the leaf funnel and not into the pot, as the roots can rot with too much water. The Bromelia generally flowers once, but the brightly coloured flowers can last several months. After flowering, the plant produces young shoots that will ultimately replace the mother plant.
