Origin
The Sansevieria 'Masoniana' originates from West Africa, specifically Ghana and Congo. This plant is part of the Asparagaceae family and is named after the English botanist and collector, Maurice Mason.

Characteristics
The Sansevieria 'Masoniana', also known as the Whale Fin Sansevieria, is characterised by its broad, fleshy and dark green leaves. These leaves often adorn light green transverse stripes and a pointed top. Each leaf can grow up to 25 cm wide and 125 cm long. The plant generally grows slowly and maintains a compact form, making it a popular choice for interior decoration.

Care
The Sansevieria 'Masoniana' thrives in light, but can also survive in semi-shade. The plant prefers a well-drained soil to prevent root rot.
