The Crassula ovata 'Gollum' requires little water, a characteristic of succulents. During the summer months, it is sufficient to water once a week. In winter, when the plant is at rest, water need only be given sporadically. The plant prefers a light location but avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch. The ideal temperature for this plant lies between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius. It is also important to ensure well-draining potting soil to prevent root rot.
