Origin
The Sansevieria Super mix, also recognisable as the snake plant, has its roots in West Africa. The plant is part of the Asparagaceae family, which originates from the tropical parts of West Africa. Specifically, they are indigenous to Nigeria and Congo. They grow best in the hot, dry regions of these countries.
Characteristics
The Sansevieria Super mix is a sturdy and graceful plant known for its pointed, upright leaves. These leaves are striped in a pattern of green and gold, making them a striking presence in any room. This plant can grow to a height of 60 to 70 cm. The plant rarely produces flowers, but when it blooms, the flowers are usually greenish-white and fragrant.
Care
The Sansevieria Super mix requires minimal care, making it an ideal houseplant. It prefers bright, indirect light but can also survive in low light conditions. It is important to note that over-watering can be harmful to the plant: watering should only be done when the soil is completely dry. The plant is also resistant to most diseases and pests, and thrives well in temperatures between 15 to 30 degrees Celsius.
