Origin

Characteristics
The Caladium Kelly is a popular houseplant due to its striking leaves. These are heart-shaped and display an unusual colour combination of green and white, with occasional pink and red accents. The plant can grow up to 60 centimeters tall, and the leaves can reach a length of 40 centimeters. Despite its tropical origin, the plant can adapt well to a temperate climate.

The care of the Caladium Kelly requires some attention. The plant prefers a light location, but avoid direct sunlight as this can damage the leaves. It's important to keep the soil consistently moist, without leaving the plant standing in water. The Caladium Kelly cannot withstand temperatures below 12 degrees Celsius. Additionally, it is recommended to fertilise the plant every two weeks during the growing period.
