Asparagus setaceus plumosus 6/tray
4ASPABP35
Origin
The Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor', also known as the Wax Plant, originates from East Asia and Australia. The plant belongs to the family of the so-called Wax Plants or Apocynaceae. The tropical environment in its area of origin has contributed to the unique characteristics of this plant species.
Characteristics
The Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor' is a climbing and hanging plant with distinctive variegated leaves. The leaves have three colours, hence the name 'Tricolor'. They combine shades of green, white and pink and have a waxy texture. This plant produces fragrant flowers, formed like stars clustered in a spherical shape, which primarily bloom in the summer months.
Care
The Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor' thrives best under indirect, bright light and is suitable for the indoor climate. To maintain its colourful foliage, it needs a lot of light, without getting direct sunlight. The plant requires humus-rich, well-draining soil and wishes to be watered moderately. Overwatering and extreme temperatures should be avoided at all costs. This can indeed lead to root rot and will irreparably damage the plant.
