Origin
The Alocasia Silver Dragon Variegata is a rare house plant whose origin is in the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. This exotic plant species belongs to the family of the Araceae, known as the arum or arrowroot family. The plant is also sometimes called Alocasia Baginda 'Silver Dragon'.

Characteristics
Majestic and characteristic of the Alocasia Silver Dragon Variegata are its heart-shaped leaves, with a captivating pattern and colour. The leaves have a spectacular silver colour with dark green veins, which accentuate the pattern and give the plant an impressive and unique appearance. Under ideal growing conditions, the plant can grow to a height of 1 to 1.5 meters.

Care
The Alocasia Silver Dragon Variegata has specific care requirements. The plant likes a warm and humid atmosphere, which fits its tropical origin, and thrives best at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C. Watering should occur when the top layer of the soil feels dry, but overwatering must be avoided to prevent root rot. Lastly, the plant needs a light location, but cannot tolerate direct sunlight.
