Origin
The Sansevieria Super Green, also known as the Snake Plant, originally comes from West Africa. Within this region, the plant was initially found mainly in Nigeria and Congo. This popular houseplant made its way to Europe in the 18th century and is known for its impressive ability to survive in various conditions.
Characteristics
The Sansevieria Super Green stands out for its strong, sword-shaped leaves. This plant can grow up to 75 centimetres tall. The leaves have a deep green colour and are often covered with subtle light green stripes. The fact that this plant requires little light and possesses air-purifying properties, makes it a popular choice among both novice and experienced plant lovers.
Care
The care of a Sansevieria Super Green is relatively simple. The plant only needs limited water, especially during the winter months you have to be careful with over watering. In terms of light, the plant has a low requirement, it can even survive in a shaded spot. This makes the Sansevieria Super Green an ideal plant for spaces with little natural sunlight. The plant feels most comfortable at a temperature between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius.
