Origin
The Cotyledon Elephant Trunk 6/tray, also known as Cotyledon undulata, originally hails from South Africa. It falls under the family of the Crassulaceae and is commonly found in nature in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.

Characteristics
The Cotyledon Elephant Trunk 6/tray is a succulent, identifiable by its wavy, flesh-like leaves. The leaves are bright green in colour, with attractive red edges. The plant is characterised by its long, curved stems that resemble an elephant's trunk, hence the name. In the summer, the plant produces bell-shaped, orange-like flowers that add an additional splash of colour to the garden or interior.

Care
Like most succulents, the Cotyledon Elephant Trunk 6/tray requires good drainage and cannot tolerate prolonged periods of soil moisture. The best place for this plant is in bright light, but it can also grow in partial shade. It requires moderate water during the growing season and very little water during the dormant period. As with most succulents, it is recommended to keep the plant on the dry side and let the soil dry out completely between watering.
