Origin
The Dracaena fragrans 'Lemon Lime', also known as the Lemon Lime Dragon Tree, is a tropical plant originally from Africa. In the wild, it can be found growing in countries such as Sudan, Mozambique and Ivory Coast, where it is found in dry areas with rocky soil.

Characteristics
Distinctive characteristics of the Dracaena fragrans 'Lemon Lime' are its long, narrow leaves that grow at the top of the tree. What is special about this plant is that it has green leaves with a wide, yellow to lime green edge. It can grow up to a height of 2 to 3 meters, making it quite a large houseplant. However, when grown in a pot, it remains smaller. It grows slowly and has a bushy growth habit.

Care
The Dracaena fragrans 'Lemon Lime' is a plant which doesn't require a lot of care. It needs a light to half shady location, but it cannot tolerate direct sunlight. The plant doesn't have a high water requirement: it is sufficient to keep the potting soil slightly moist. It thrives at room temperature and loves a high humidity. In the winter, the amount of water given can be reduced slightly.
