Origin
The Ficus pumila, better known as 'White Sunny', originally hails from Southeast Asia. The plant belongs to the Moraceae family, or mulberry family. This climbing, tropical plant has grown in popularity in various parts of the world as an ornamental plant for both indoor and outdoor use.

Characteristics
The White Sunny is a climbing perennial with heart-shaped leaves. This evergreen plant has a characteristic leaf cover with white to light green leaves, creating an attractive pattern. The plant has the capacity to grow quickly and reach considerable height when under the right conditions. In addition to providing ornamental value through its leaves, the plant also produces inconspicuous flowers and small fruits.

Care
White Sunny prefers a light to semi-shaded location. The plant thrives well at a normal room temperature and does not do well under excessively cold conditions. It's important to moisten the soil regularly without letting the plant stand in water. Overwatering and prolonged exposure to water can cause root rot. Fertilising can be done during growth, but is not necessary. Regularly dusting the leaves helps to keep the plant healthy and attractive.
