Origin
The Asparagus Plumosus, also known as Asparagus Fern, originally originates from South Africa. This plant is mainly found in the coastal regions and mountains of South Africa. Over the years, the Asparagus Fern has spread worldwide and adapted to different conditions.

Characteristics
The Asparagus Plumosus is characterised by its delicate, feathered leaves that have a rich green colour. Although it looks like a fern, the Asparagus Plumosus is actually a member of the lily family. The plant also produces small white flowers and red berries. Blooming generally occurs during late spring or early summer.

Care
In terms of care, the Asparagus Plumosus needs light, but no direct sunlight. It is advisable to water the plant regularly, but avoid leaving the roots in water to prevent root rot. For healthy growth, the plant needs regular fertilisation with a balanced fertiliser, especially during the active growth period. It is also important to know that this plant prefers normal to high humidity levels.
