Origin
The Dracaena sanderiana mix, also known as Lucky Bamboo, originally comes from West Africa. It is particularly found in Cameroon, Gabon, and Congo. The plant has been grown indoors in this region for centuries due to its attractive appearance and easy care.

Characteristics
The Dracaena sanderiana mix is an evergreen, perennial plant which can reach a height of 1 to 3 meters. The stems are upright and hollow with a gradually narrowing top. The leaves are bright green, shiny, lance-shaped and grow up to 25 cm long. Although it is often seen as a single stem, it has the ability to branch out and form an extensive network of stems.

Care
The Dracaena sanderiana mix prefers light, but not direct sun exposure. Too much sun can burn the leaves. An ideal temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. Regular watering is essential, but avoid waterlogged conditions as they can cause root rot. The use of rainwater or distilled water is recommended to prevent a build-up of minerals in the soil. The plant also appreciates being fertilized with a general-purpose fertilizer every now and then.
