Origin
Dieffenbachia 'Cool Tigris' is a houseplant originally found in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, such as Brazil and Costa Rica. The plant is named after Ernst Dieffenbach, a German doctor who studied plants in New Zealand and Australia in the 19th century.

Characteristics
The Dieffenbachia 'Cool Tigris' is a foliage plant distinguished by its striking leaf patterns. The plant has large, light green leaves with darker green stripes and spots that mimic the appearance of a tiger's skin. The plant can reach a height of about 1 metre and has a full, wide growth.

Care
The Dieffenbachia 'Cool Tigris' likes a light to partial shade spot without direct sunlight. The plant requires humidity that matches its tropical origin and hence needs regular water, but be careful that the roots are not constantly standing in water. On the other hand, the Dieffenbachia 'Cool Tigris' does not tolerate drought conditions. It is recommended to spray the plant regularly with lukewarm water and to provide liquid fertiliser every two weeks during the growth period.
