Origin
The Ginkgo biloba Troll, also known as dwarf ginkgo, has its origin in the mountains of China. Here, this unique plant species grows in the wild at altitudes up to 1000 metres. It belongs to one of the oldest living plant species on earth, about 270 million years old, and has survived the last ice age in China.

Characteristics
The Ginkgo biloba Troll is characterised by its compact growth and relatively small size with a maximum height of one metre. The leaves, a light green colour in the summer and a golden hue in autumn, are fan-shaped and divided into several segments. The plant has female and male variants, with the female seeds producing seeds. The seed of the Ginkgo biloba is popular in Asian cuisine.

Care
A Ginkgo biloba Troll is easy to maintain. The plant craves a sunny to lightly shaded place. A well-draining, slightly acidic soil is ideal. Other requirements are modest; it is resistant to diseases and pests and can also cope well with air pollution and temperature differences. Pruning is not necessary, unless to maintain the desired shape.
