Anthurium Mille Fleurs Cava
White
F00000043
Origin
The Jasminum polyanthum, better known as the White Jasmine, has its origin in the southeast of China. This is where the plant grows in the mountains, at heights between 300 and 2400 meters. Nowadays, the plant is spread all over the world and is praised for its graceful appearance and strong, sweet scent.
Characteristics
The Jasminum polyanthum is an evergreen, climbing plant that can grow up to 6 meters high in ideal conditions. This graceful climber has dark green, glossy leaves and produces a profusion of small, white, star-shaped flowers between January and March. These flowers emit a strong, sweet scent. Due to its rapid growth and bloom, it's a popular plant for the garden or the balcony.
Care
In terms of care, the Jasminum polyanthum has few demands. The plant thrives best in partial shade and prefers a moist, well-draining soil. During the summer months, it is advisable to water regularly, while in winter the water supply can be reduced. To promote a lush bloom, it is recommended to add liquid fertiliser once every two weeks during the growing season (May to September). Pruning can take place after blooming to keep the plant in shape.
