Origin
The Rosa Alaska Kordana, also known as the Miniature Rose, has its origin in the breeding greenhouses of the Kordes family in Germany. This family is known for their longstanding expertise in rose breeding. The Kordes family has been producing the Alaska Kordana on a large scale since the 1980s.

Characteristics
The Rosa Alaska Kordana is recognised for its compact size, making it ideal for indoor use in smaller spaces. The plant produces flowers that are about 3 cm in diameter, with a rich aroma that is characteristic of roses. The flowers are white in colour, hence the name Alaska. The plant has shiny green leaves that contrast nicely with the white flowers.

Care
In terms of caring for the Rosa Alaska Kordana, it is crucial to provide it with a location with plenty of light. It can be held in indirect sunlight, but direct light results in the most beautiful bloom. Watering is also important; the soil should not dry out, nor should it be too wet. Excessive water can cause root rot. It is recommended to fertilise the plant during the growing season for optimal growth and bloom.
