DescriptionSpecifications

Origin
The Aglaonema 'Pink Leopard' is a houseplant originally from the moist, tropical forests of Southeast Asia. This plant belongs to the Araceae family, better known as the Arum family. They generally grow under the leaf canopies of taller trees, on the forest floor, where they are protected from direct sunlight.

Characteristics
The Aglaonema 'Pink Leopard' is known for its striking leaf pattern. This consists of a bright green hue with unique, irregular pink speckles that mimic the look of a leopard's fur. The plant has oval leaves that grow on long stems, giving the plant a lush appearance. The 'Pink Leopard' can reach a height of around 50 centimetres.

Care
The Aglaonema 'Pink Leopard' does not need an abundance of light; a semi-shade position is ideal. It's important to keep the soil consistently lightly moist, without the plant standing in water. Overwatering can lead to root rot and should therefore be avoided. Finally, the 'Pink Leopard' thrives well in temperatures between 18-24 degrees Celsius, and will not fare well in temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. Feed this plant once every two weeks during the growing season, from April until September. Once a month suffices during winter.
