What is it?
Nieuwkoop Europe offers its customers the possibility to use its API, which is short for application programming interface. This allows you to integrate our data into your own applications. By using the Nieuwkoop Europe API, you always have the latest data about our product range at your fingertips. You can use this information any way you see fit, and you also get to decide how often you would like to refresh the data. Finally, you can use the API to place sales orders and to retrieve information about them.
What data is available?
Data
Item data: product-related information, such as dimensions and weight.
Image data: up-to-date images of all our products.
Stock data: the current stock and statuses for all our products.
Pricing data: up-to-date prices for all our products.
Tag data: product characteristics, such as material, shape, shipping location, etc.
Placing sales orders
You can place sales orders directly using the Nieuwkoop Europe API. You can also request up-to-date information for each order, such as the order status and expected shipping date.
The data in the API is available in Dutch, English, French and German.
How does it work?
1. Create an account
We provide this service exclusively to customers of Nieuwkoop Europe. If you are not yet a customer, start by creating an account on our website.
2. IT support
Keep in mind that our API is not a plug-and-play solution. Implementation requires software development and programming expertise. That is why it is important to have good IT support if you want to implement and use the application. Nieuwkoop Europe only provides data through the API and cannot offer technical support.
3. Playground testing
If you have the right support and would like to see if the Nieuwkoop Europe API could be of use to you, first try our Playground. This is an environment in which your IT partner or developer can use dummy data to get acquainted with our API.
4. Fill in the application form
If you have finished testing and are excited about our API, please fill in the application form. Once your request has been processed and approved, we will send you your API credentials and you will be ready to get started.
5. Set up your personal development environment
After receiving your API credentials, you can request a login code to get access to our development environment. You will first be invited to try our demo, and eventually you will be able to build your own customised environment.
