Aglaonema ‘Britt’ 6/tray
Tuft
4AGBRBU17
Origin
The Aglaonema Lipstick, also known as the 'Chinese Evergreen', originates from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. This species belongs to the Aglaonema genus, a group of around 20-24 species. They primarily grow in subtropical rainforests, along the foothills of the Himalayas.
Characteristics
A distinctive feature of the Aglaonema Lipstick is its elongated, glossy leaves in a bright green colour. The plant owes its name 'Lipstick' to the vibrant red berries it produces. This variety can grow to between 30 and 150 centimeters in height, depending on its age and care. Generally, the plant is slow-growing and is known for its air-purifying properties.
Care
The Aglaonema Lipstick is an easy houseplant to care for. It prefers a shady or semi-shady spot and requires moderate to high humidity. Although it is fairly drought tolerant, the plant thrives best when it is regularly watered, but you should avoid soaking the soil. The plant can also tolerate lower temperatures, although ideally they should be above 16 degrees Celsius.
