Origin
The Aspidistra elatior variegata, known among others as the cast-iron plant, is originally from East Asia. This sturdy plant primarily grows in the forests of Japan and Taiwan, where it is often found in dark, shady places. Characteristics
The Aspidistra elatior variegata is an evergreen plant that can grow wide and tall, up to 60 cm high and 40 cm wide. It has long, leathery leaves that grow upright.
