Origin
The Cordyline Mambo originates from New Zealand and is commonly known as the Kiwi fern. This is a semi-tropical plant, so naturally, it grows in a moderately warm climate. The plant is valued for its decorative appearance and is primarily used as a houseplant.

Characteristics
The Cordyline Mambo grows like a shrub and can reach up to one and a half metres in height. The most striking feature of this plant is its shiny, dark red leaves. The leaves have a long shape, can grow up to 45 cm long, and change from reddish-brown to almost black as they age. Furthermore, the Cordyline Mambo rarely produces flowers, but when it does, the flowers are small, sweet pink and bud-shaped.

Care
The Cordyline Mambo likes a light spot, but cannot tolerate direct sunlight. This plant also likes a high humidity, so it's important to mist regularly. In terms of water needs, the Cordyline Mambo requires regular watering all year round, but the soil should not stay soaking wet. In winter, it is necessary to reduce watering to prevent root rot.
