Origin
The Adromischus cooperi is a succulent originally from South Africa. It is a member of the Crassulaceae family and is often found in rock crevices and barren soils in its natural habitat.
Characteristics
This compact plant is distinguished by its colourful, elongated leaves that range from green to purplish brown. The leaves are often covered with tiny hairs and contain clearly visible vein patterns. The plant blooms in the spring and summer, with small, tubular flowers appearing on long stems.
Care
The Adromischus cooperi requires well-draining soil and thrives in a planter with drainage holes. It tolerates full sun to partial shade and needs to be protected at temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. Overwatering should be avoided as this can lead to root rot. Regular fertilising during the growing season is recommended for the health and growth of the plant.
