Origin
The Syngonium Maria is a tropical houseplant originally hailing from Central and South America. The species is particularly found in tropical rainforests. It belongs to the Araceae family, which consists of over 100 different species.

Characteristics
The Syngonium Maria is a vine that can adapt to both a dappled light environment and full shadowy conditions. The leaves are striking with their arrowhead appearance and a rich green, sometimes almost black, colour spectrum. In its mature state, the leaves can become up to 15 centimetres wide. The plant is also known by the name arrowhead plant due to its characteristic leaf structure.

Care
Watering is a pivotal aspect in caring for the Syngonium Maria. The soil the plant is in needs to be kept moist, but without saturating to prevent root rot. Light is another significant element.
