Origin
The Gasteria 'Little Warty' is a plant species originating from South Africa. This succulent belongs to the Asphodelaceae family and, like many of its relatives, prefers rocky soils. 'Little Warty', also known as Gasteria batesiana, is one of many varieties within the Gasteria genus.

Characteristics
The Gasteria 'Little Warty' is characterised by compact rosettes of thick, oval leaves. The leaves are dark green in colour with light green spots. The name 'Little Warty' refers to the small, wart-like bumps found on the leaves. The plant also has the ability to produce small, tube-shaped flowers in the spring.

Care
In the care of the 'Little Warty', it is essential that the plant gets enough light, but is not directly in full sun. The recommended watering is moderate: the soil should dry out completely between waterings. Furthermore, the 'Little Warty' does best in well-draining soil, to prevent root rot.
