Characteristics

Up close, one can observe a wide range of green, rusty red, and even purplish hues. The plant typically does not grow larger than a meter long and grows in a hanging or climbing growth form depending on the conditions.

Care
As the Philodendron micans is a tropical plant, it prefers an environment with high humidity and temperatures well above freezing. Although it's an enthusiastic grower, it requires only moderate water; the soil should not completely dry out, but must be well-drained. The Philodendron micans thrives best in indirect, bright light, but it can also cope with a bit more shade.
