Origin
The Schefflera arboricola 'Trinette', also known as the Stralende Schefflera, is originally from Taiwan and New Guinea. It is a member of the Araliaceae family, which typically thrives in tropical areas. The plant is valued for its ability to survive in relatively unfavourable conditions, which has contributed to its popularity as a house plant.
Characteristics
The Schefflera arboricola 'Trinette' is easily identifiable by its glossy leaves, which are often arranged around the stem in an umbrella-like configuration. The 'Trinette' variety is distinguished by its unique leaf pattern, with a mix of green and cream markings. The plant can grow up to 4 metres high, although it usually remains smaller when grown as an indoor plant.
Care
